Today I learned that the mythology of the creation of Rocky Road ice cream says that during the Depression, the inventor wanted to create an ice cream that was a comfort food that depicted both the rocky and sweet parts of life. It says that he reportedly used his wife's sewing scissors to chop up the marshmallow for it. 😱😱😱

Legend has it that he's still hearing, "NOT MY FABRIC SCISSORS!!!" from the great beyond. 😂
