We love a challenge, and this project had a few!

Removed the old, non-functional truck scales, including foundations.

Prepped site for new concrete foundations and scale installation.

The old scales may not have worked, but not for lack of structural integrity. The concrete decking was poured in and around the structural steel and had plenty of rebar.

The concrete footings and stem walls were massive, deep and had a ton of rebar. Fought us every step of the way, but we got it.

Then prepped the site, established clean bottom of hole, installed geotextile and structural NFS Type-II gravel.

The design also called for 4-inches of 60-psi rigid board foam insulation beneath the new structural footings.

Now the concrete footings will be poured and we’ll be back to prep for wash out and approach slabs.

Older home.
Small lot.
Tight trees.
Overhead power lines.
Very limited access.

Needed the smaller machines.

Not one, but two failed septic systems.

Concrete septic tank, log crib, concrete cesspool.
All needed to be removed/decommissioned.

Installed a new Advantex system due to almost zero available space and other setback restrictions that eliminated the option of a conventional system.

Site looks better than when we got here and now has a proper system with a new plastic forest.

Crew killed it on this one. ❤️

Got the 2020 Hitachi 160 back out in the dirt today. She’s been resting since November. Felt good to get the rust off for a technical hillside dig.
