***Professional Credential Update***

The Knowledge Management Institute has updated the acronym for its Certified AI & KM Professional credential from CAIM to CAIKM.

I like the change because CAIKM more clearly communicates what the certification represents: bringing Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Management together to help organizations prepare for AI adoption.

The training covered practical capabilities such as developing an AI strategy and culture, preparing the workforce for AI-driven change, creating transformation roadmaps, establishing an AI Center of Excellence, and developing policies addressing AI governance and ethics.

These skills directly support the work we are developing through Highliner Consulting Group and Nakaani Technologies around AI readiness, Knowledge Management, governance, and responsible AI adoption.

My updated professional designation will therefore be:

We shared lessons learned for our recent deployment of our newest office in Hong Kong, S.A.R.

We had the pleasure of joining the Alaska International Business Center (akIBC) roundtable and fireside chat with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle’s Director General May Lin; to discuss current as well as future opportunities between Taiwan, Alaska and U.S. as a whole.

We are pleased to share that we have completed the Business Taxonomy and Ontology certification course through the (KM Institute (KMI).

This training strengthens our ability to help organizations define, organize, and connect their critical business knowledge. Taxonomies create a shared structure and language, while ontologies reveal the relationships between information, people, processes, and decisions.

For Highliner Consulting Group and Nakaani Technologies, these capabilities will support our expanding work in Knowledge Management as a Service, AI governance, data governance, CMMC readiness, and enterprise knowledge architecture.

They also provide a stronger foundation for building AI systems that can understand and retrieve organizational knowledge with greater accuracy and context.

We look forward to applying this discipline to help our clients turn fragmented information into structured, governed, and decision-ready knowledge.

It was a pleasure to meet and discuss potential joint opportunities with Romanian Ambassador Andrei Muraru at a recent event hosted by Greg Wolf of akIBC.

Ambassador Muraru was accompanied by Political Officer Roxana Clinciu and Marcel Somfelean, the President of the Romanian Moldovan Trucking Association.
