How cool would it be to look around the stands at those cold football games next season and see everyone wrapped up in these blankets?

It’s been a hard week for so many. Our hearts are broken for our friends and our children. One loss greater than we can put into words and two boys fighting to come home. We are grieving with our community, but what do we do?

Seeing two Pendleton boys wrapped in our blankets, fighting with their Bulldog spirit - broken yet determined, devastated but trying to be brave for their Mamas. We know what to do.

Effective immediately, and for the month of June, proceeds from our blanket sales go to those 3 families. For their needs now and in the weeks to come.

Here’s the part we need you to hear. We’ve completely sold out of current inventory and our vendor is sewing brand new blankets right now! We expect 2 weeks until we have them in our hands.

Spencer Martin, Dennis Holcombe, Karson Godfrey, family and friends we are praying for each of you.

Honestly one of the best hot dogs I have ever had. My only mistake was only getting one hot dog.

I played in a golf tournament for Pendleton football and I was honored to have this young man as my caddie that day. We had many talks and I will never forget how much he talked about how much he loved his dad.

Here is an article by Heather Patterson, who is the Technical Service Manager for Control Solutions inc. This is for restaurants but also applies to many of our home area too. I tell customers all the time, “You can never clean too much.”

“You probably walk past many fly breeding sites every day, including:

> Floor cracks that fill up with dropped food and mop water

• Forgotten produce that rolled away or was stored out of sight

• Broken drain lines

• Garbage "juice" that has accumulated in the bottom of a trash cans.

• Gunk and buildup the has collected under shelving or equipment legs.

• Damp mop heads and cieaning cloths that never fully dry.

• Neglected grease traps.

• Syrupy areas around soda machines, beverage lines and drink stations.

• Saturated bar mats and floor mats.

• Biofilm inside drains

All these areas have the same thing in common:
They tend to get wet and stay wet, creating the ideal spot for fly larvae to grow. Remember, fly problems live or die at the breeding site, and adult flies may not always be found in the areas where the larvae are developing. That's likely happening somewhere completely different and out of sight. The key to a successful fly management program, then, depends on finding those hidden sources and correcting the conditions that support them.”
