I have been reminded this summer of how truly I am blessed by my friendships and the ladies I have around me doing life! โค๏ธ. In between making supply runs and baking, I have been able to share coffee dates, porch talks and table time with them. โค๏ธ. The past few weeks have just filled my heart so much! The visits. The prayer times... The special little gifts... The laugh so much your face hurts days! โค๏ธ. I am a very fortunate lady. "A friend loves at all times..." Proverbs 27:27.
Trying to retain a work/life ballance while working from home has proven to be a challenge.
I have even been slacking on my hill visits with Pa, and random "feild trips" with my Ma and Auntie...(What happens on the road with those two--stays on the road!๐คฃ)... To be honest--I have found myself a little grumpy at times this summer. NOT a place I want to be! I love baking and making people happy with cookies!! It has been a busier than normal summer for our family...weddings... babies...and other "things" that are still "developing"โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ The last couple weeks I am finding the Coop is a little quieter...I know everyone is trying to squeeze in a last vacation, or purchase all the school things... (My "pajama ladies" are still here at 6:30 am! ๐คฃ You know who you are--and I love seeing you!!โค๏ธ) With this all in mind, I am going to close the kitchen and the Coop until September 18th and try to sneak it a little bit more of "summering", catch up in the office, and maybe sneak to NW Tioga for some lunches with a nice lookin' guy that works down there! โบ๏ธ๐
Be watching--The Cookie Coop and kitchen will reopen on September 18th to clelebrate the Cookie Coop's 1 year anniversary!! I have some fun ideas for that day!! Give aways, raffles... and coffee. You should know by now--anything I do will involve coffee!
I cannot say it enough--how thankful I am for each and every one of you, the support you have given, the prayers, the hugs at the Coop... I appreciate you all. See you in a couple weeks at the Coop! -Aunt Shannie๐
