How well do you really know your team?

Not their job title.
Not their resume.
Not even their personality type.

I mean:
How they think.
How they communicate.
How they respond under pressure.
How they interpret the exact same situation differently than you.

This Wednesday, I’m leading an interactive Lunch & Learn at the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce:

Beyond Labels: Understanding the Human Dynamics Behind Leadership Decisions

We’ll explore why leadership decisions often succeed or fail based on the human system they impact, and why many “people problems” are actually communication, interpretation, and decision-making problems hiding in plain sight.

No lecture here. This is a hands-on workshop with discussion, exercises, and practical leadership insights you can immediately apply whether you lead a team of 50, a team of 5, or a team of 1.

If you’ve ever wondered:
• Why people can see the same situation completely differently
• Why teams sometimes agree in meetings but execute differently afterward
• Why friction, miscommunication, and decision bottlenecks keep showing up

And what to do about any of it

…this workshop is for you.

Wednesday, June 3
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking about leadership and decisions at the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce’s Friday Sunrise. Not only was it exciting to talk about something so important to me - and to leaders and businesses - but it was extra exciting to stay over one hour after the event ended to have extended conversations about what I talked about.

A few things that stuck with people:
• “People problems” do not equal “problem people.”
• Risk lives before decisions are locked in.
• People skills are not soft, they’re critical.
• You must consider the whole system during big changes, not just individuals.

Plus, I got to sit with these lovely ladies, Jenn Thomas and Amy Gale Maloney!

What a fun, engaging group and event, and a wonderful way to start off the weekend!

We started our Wired for Success: Values & Goal Crushing workshop today at The PARC by having everyone fill in the blank: "Success is ______." These were their answers. Success means something different to everyone – and something different depending on their season of life.

If you filled in the blank, what would you say?

"Success is ______."

Got Candy? 🍬 🍫 🍭

We are so excited to announce that Insperai Inc., Archstone Workspace, and Elevated Health Center have teamed up to collect that extra candy you have leftover from Halloween for the Treats for Troops program through Soldier's Angels!

This great program collects excess Halloween candy and ships it to deployed service members and hands it out to veterans in VA Hospitals across the country!

So—if you're stuck with any extra sweets and looking for something special to do with it, stop by this November drop off your candy!

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure not only to spend the week soaking in all the knowledge available at Twin Cities Startup Week 2025, but also be a featured speaker alongside some powerful women. We discussed why understanding your people behind your products, processes, and profits is pivotal to your organization's success, regardless of it's a startup or established business. Core values, marketing strategy, and deployment, all with people and their wiring in mind - we covered it all!

From speakers and panels to happy hours and tours, it was great experience that I look forward to enjoying again next year and keeping the momentum going this year!
