Our latest flip is in the books! Yesterday we closed on a ranch we bought in Danvers, MA and celebrated at 9 Elm Bistro in the same town (which is our tradition...I had pan roasted duck over bacon & butternut risotto which was amazing!). We received several offers and accepted one way above the list price! The elderly woman who used to live here was a hoarder who didn't do any improvements to the house for a very long time. It was barely visible from the road because the yard was so overgrown. It's amazing how much of a transformation we were able to do and the neighbors are so appreciative. Now it's on to the next project in Salisbury, MA

After almost 5 months, our landscaper was finally able to clear the jungle in the backyard at our project in Danvers, MA. Since there is a running brook in the rear of the property, we had to hire a wetland scientist (cha ching!) and get approval from the town health department. That took about 3 months and then we had to wait for the snow to melt and the ground to de-thaw. It's amazing how much better it looks already (see before & after pics). Can't wait to seed the lawn and plant shrubs in a couple weeks and then we can finally put it on the market!

I love when we receive the proposed kitchen plan for our projects. It's amazing how much value we add by installing a brand new kitchen. The previous kitchen hadn't been updated since the 60's and was a galley kitchen so it was very small. We decided to knock down the brick wall to provide an open layout which buyers love. Even though we didn't add square footage it feels so much bigger! We look forward to getting this project done in February so stay tuned for more pics.

Why is it that there is at least one creepy doll in just about every property that we aquire? I swear that the doll in the first pic changed positions while we were there 😱

We are excited to renovate this beauty in Danvers, MA! Gotta love the s**g carpeting on the walls, refrigerator cabinet, hanging stove, hole in bedroom ceiling, pink bathroom, and jungle of a yard. We definitely know how to pick em! This house is clearly stuck in the 60’s, or maybe 50’s, and we are super excited to bring it back to life!

Here's our latest acquisition. Yes there is a house there! The neighbors are absolutely going to love us once we clear all of the brush. Can't wait to share before & after pics.

We're looking for a single or multi-family (3-4 units) in the north Boston area (Somerville, Revere, Everett, etc) for clients of ours. If you have any off-market deals that need cosmetic work or light remodeling let us know. They are pre-approved by a local bank, super motivated, and can spend up to $800,000.

Shopping for bathroom sinks at Peabody Supply for our latest renovation in Hamilton, MA. It took Kathy a while because there are so many options. Thankfully we are in the final stretch of this project.

Totally forgot to post our celebratory dinner a couple weeks for our latest flip in Salem, MA (no, the house is not haunted!). As is our custom, we dine at a restaurant located in the same town as our project. We decided to go to a really cool restaurant called Antique Table. The bolognese was amazing!! We accepted an offer within a few days for $10k over the asking price so it was another win worth celebrating!!

It was de-staging day for our latest flip in Salem, Ma. Over the years we have accumulated a lot of furniture so that we can stage the majority of our projects which saves us about $3,000. It’s a pain, especially at our advanced age, but I don’t mind giving up a few hours to save that much. We do pay for this storage locker but it’s still totally worth it. And we love de-staging day because that means the buyers were approved for their financing and that we are less than a week away from closing!!
