Today, we pause to honor the true meaning of Memorial Day. Remembering the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country is the least we can do.

Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends today, let us also reflect on those who gave everything so that we may live freely and safely.

As many of you have seen in our latest local forecasts, dangerous temperatures are scheduled to blanket our state tonight. Wind chills in most of our area, will be in the teens and single digits. Please take time this afternoon to prepare yourselves for winter weather. ❄️

🌡️Adjust your home thermostats to prepare for the expected low temperatures.
💧Let your faucets drip to protect your pipes.

As you head out the door for school & work tomorrow, prepare to dress in layers. Allow extra time for travel as some roads and bridges have the possibility of accumulating ice.

Certain communities will have warming shelters available for your convenience. Please stay tuned to local media stations for accurate weather coverage, closings & more.

Remember to check on our senior population. Together, we can prepare and make it through the winter - together!
