The Andrews Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1946 and has served the people of the city and county of Andrews diligently ever since. Made up of 45 dedicated volunteers, the members of Andrews Volunteer Fire Department stand ready to serve the fire and rescue needs of the community they protect.

Strong Work A-Shift💪

🫀Recently, A-Shift responded to a patient having chest pain. The patient was promptly diagnosed to be experiencing a STEMI, also known as a "heart attack" where every minute matters. The crew quickly recognized the emergency, provided critical prehospital care, and started transport to an area cardiovascular center in Odessa.

It's a great example of teamwork and efficiency of everyone involved on this call. In just a little over an hour of patient contact and complaint they were able to reach the cardiovascular center, which is an incredible achievement and demonstration of the care provided by Andrews EMS! 🚑
