We live on a water planet.

Aquanaut Program Mission Statement:

Primary:
Students grades 4-12 will study marine and freshwater science through the use of sub-sea systems and technology; all diving equipment SCUBA and surface supplied, manned submersibles, remotely operated vehicles (ROV), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV), scientific diving and research, diving medical applications (first aid and CPR), underwater habitat

s, safe boating practices and ancillary support equipment. Graduates will be some of the finest candidates available to the offshore and inshore industry's. Secondary:
Provide support services to local Search and Rescue, provide cost effective training services to first res ponders. Provide video services to public access television for continued educational purposes. Provide scientific results from educational outings to public agencies such as Fish & Game and Natural Resources. Collaboration with other research and educational institutions.

I know we have been quite for a bit, but there are some major things in the works, besides getting the two 600 meter suits built up and a science class ROV system, we are also looking at an AS degree program that the students can begin before they even graduate high school. Some, may even be able to graduate from high school with an AS ready to go to work. More to come :-)

The rebuilds are on schedule, suit one will be swimming in May, only a small tease for now. The voids in the cowling will be filled with syntactic, main ballast tank on top of that, and VB on top of the main. More to come.
