This past Monday I had the opportunity to visit Mrs. Morgan’s classroom!! This visit was extra special to me because it was so close to home and filled with some of the very best teachers!! I had so much fun teaching these kindergartners all about watermelon, and I may have even learned a few things from them too! 🍉📚
Be on the lookout for upcoming Watermelon Wednesdays featuring Mrs. Morgan’s class and one of the smartest kindergartners I’ve ever met! Thank you so much, Mrs. Morgan, for welcoming me into your school and allowing me to spend the day with your wonderful students!!

Last Sunday, I had the opportunity to attend the Got to Be NC Festival! I had so much fun meeting everyone and seeing all of the adorable watermelon fans made at the craft corner! 🍉 It’s such a blessing to live in a state with so many amazing products grown and produced right here at home. So thankful to celebrate North Carolina agriculture and the people who make it all possible!

On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to plant a watermelon trial with past Queen Gracy Pasour! I've always loved manual labor, and when you're with amazing people, the time just flies. I can't wait to see these plants grow and eventually be harvested!🍉
