Where do I start?! I have been absent on posting lately and really have taken some time for myself to have a mental break from busy season. That being said I’ve had so many messages asking about my Black Friday sale and Christmas minis as well as gift certificates!! I decided to not do Christmas minis this year to allow me to have family time and spend much needed time on editing. I do have a couple last minute openings for regular winter style sessions this year. I know Black Friday has come and gone but I decided to do an end of year sale as I know so many of you look forward to this!!! The sale is good through this weekend!

These will be the only regular mini sessions I’ll be offering next year aside from mini special sessions on specific dates, so if you want some flexibility on dates and times these are the only mini sessions for those! (I let a lot of you still book these this year 💜) I am only offering 6 of these! They are only good for 2024 and cannot be used on mini specials. (Such as fall minis Christmas minis etc…you can still use it during fall just not with the mini specials)

Weddings: 2024 will be the last year for weddings. (Aside from the few of you I have already planned for 2025) I’ve already slowed way down on these this year and I will be taking less following to help with a quicker turn around time and having family time! I will still be offering elopement’s!!

I’ve been trying to find the words to say and have debated on posting because I know I have messages to get to. I’ve deleted and re typed multiple times. There are just no words. I’ve had so many people reach out to me today about the loss of this beautiful soul! Some clients that don’t even know this mama but have followed my page since the beginning and have also grown to know these families and their stories through their photos I’ve shared over the years. Kylie I had the honor to watch you grow into an amazing mother, sister, daughter, and best friend even before photography. I’ve read so many posts and comments about how you meant the world to so many people and every single one just tugs at my heart! When I heard the news today I was in disbelief. I still don’t think it’s truly hit yet. Experiencing a very traumatic house fire is where my journey with photography began when I decided to “Turn over a New Leaf” and remember that things are just things and that at least we all were ok and made it out with our children safely within mins of total loss. I never take that day for granted. But today I just feel sad, trying not to ask why, trying not to replay it in my mind over and over again like I did for years as if it was yesterday. Knowing just a fraction of what this family is about to feel let alone with the loss added to that! I’ve watched this mom shed so many tears when she lost her nephew to cancer, I’ve watched her hold her older sister in some of her darkest moments of loss even when she was feeling it too. She was the best auntie that anyone could ask for, the best mama to these boys, the best sister, and the best daughter who deserved the freaking world but would never ask for it! This photo has been posted all day and shared so many times and the hard part is this isn’t the first photo this family has had to see and now think of loss instead of happiness from this crisp morning splashing through the water with the kids, taking their boots off to play making a mess and genuine belly laughs, then heading to Applebees in their wet clothes just so they could have family time together! These little boys will always be family to me even if I don’t get to see them often they will always hold a special place in my heart just like their mama and entire family! Kylie I love you and I will never have the right words to say. This one hits me like a ton of bricks. When I read Miranda’s post at the very end I could feel that lump in my throat and just tried to hold it together today. I’m sure Canton did exactly that and welcomed you with the biggest hugs and is taking you to all his new favorite fishing spots and showing you the ropes up there! I love you and already miss your sweet smile so much!! I promise to hug these boys so tight and keep that special place in my heart just for you! Love ya!!!💜
