Picked up a Stearman today for an Annual. Always lots of fun flying the Stearman definitely didn't need a coat today was a really warm flight.
A big thank you to Mr. Quick giving me a ride to pick up the Stearman.,

Spent the rest of the day working on baffling for a Cessna 210.

Happy fall and happy Friday to everyone ! We have had a busy week. There is a Cessna 210 we are finishing up with a cylinder overhaul. A Mooney 231 we are doing a 50 hour, new led strobes, and some minor squawks. We are fixing an oil leak on a lake buccaneer, these are all still in the shop. We changed all three tires a brake disc and brakes on a Cherokee, and helped a transient with a nose gear shimmy on a P210. Changed a battery on a new Cessna 206, and finished an annual on a Cessna 205 in between all the jobs in the shop.

We also celebrated many birthdays this week, both family and customer wise!

Wings Over Wine Country this weekend! So go check out all the activities at Sonoma County airport! There is a lot of flying demonstrations and static displays along with aircraft paraphernalia.

Happy Belated News Years to everyone! It has been extremely busy at Mikes Aero. It is wonderful to have all this work. Piper's AD 2013-02-13 has been keeping us really busy. Yikes. New customers coming in and some really old familiar faces reappearing. Getting referrals from CPA is a really nice compliment. Its been a GREAT January.

Oct 2 there is still three airplanes in the shop we just exchanged one flight school plane for another. Yesterday was very busy and hot. Early start today it supposed to be another hot one!

Oct 1, 2012 busy day at Mikes Aero three in the shop and two at the door. No idle hands today :-)
