Today. PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN. Try this instead.
1. Make a list of 10 things that are going right.
Not someday. Right now.
2. Take a 10-minute walk without headphones.
Notice what you haven’t been noticing.
3. Write down one thought that’s been draining your energy.
Then ask: Is it true? Is it helpful?
4. Text someone you love.
Not because you need something. Just because.
5. Make your favorite drink and sit down while you drink it.
No multitasking.
6. Write down three things you’re carrying today.
Choose one to put down.
7. Open a window.
Take five deep breaths. Stay there for a minute.
8. Write a note to future you.
What do you hope she remembers?
9. Ask yourself:
“What would make today feel 10% easier?”
Then do that.
10. Spend ten minutes doing something that brings you joy.
Not productivity. Not self-improvement. Joy.
Truthfully. We don’t need more information. Or the constant distraction.
We need more presence.
Put your phone down. Your life is waiting for you.
