One of these Halloween decorations is watching you.

Meet Puffin, our October Pet of the Month. This six-year-old black cat belongs to Kimberly at UM Admissions, and she takes her seasonal hiding spots seriously.

Kimberly and her family drove to Stanton, Michigan, to adopt Puffin during the pandemic. She’s brought plenty of love to their home ever since.

This time of year, you’ll find her tucked among the Halloween decorations, quietly watching and waiting to surprise someone passing by. No costume needed.

We gave the framed portraits a little Halloween makeover, too. Apparently, one Puffin wasn’t enough.
