PAY: Paying fairly before someone starts buys more loyalty than any raise you give them later.

Paying someone what they're worth instead of what you can negotiate them down to changes the relationship before day one.

The interesting part is that this isn't just about compensation.

Fairness can be a business advantage without being reduced to a business tactic.

If a company did this for me, I would feel much more excited to join.

What are some of the warning signs leaders may overlook before a valued employee decides to leave?

When a top performer resigns, the reaction is often the same: "I never saw this coming." While some departures happen quickly or are driven by personal circumstances, many top performers show signs of disengagement long before they leave.

OPPORTUNITY: Some doors are meant to be closed, and that's okay.

When God closes a door, he opens a window.

When you lose one opportunity, a new and different one will appear.
