Who loves a whimsical mudroom??? Me!Me!Me! I’m just loving how this combo is coming together for a new client relocating to the Ann Arbor area. A custom textured wool window seat cushion in apple green will allow the homeowner to rest in comfort and sophistication when removing shoes at the end of the day. And let’s not forget how this gorgeous Kravet wall covering by Gaston Y Daniela envelopes the walls and compliments the nearby powder room wrapped in Schumacher grasscloth. The “menswear” motif of the powder room walls adds just the right contrast to the more “feminine “ aesthetic, creating both balance and interest.

✨ HONORED TO BE FEATURED IN HOUR DETROIT ✨

I’m thrilled to share that Birch Design Associates has been featured in the September issue of Hour Detroit for this beautiful waterfront home on Devils Lake in Lenawee County.

Designed for family, entertaining, and effortless lake living, this nearly 10,000-square-foot home blends timeless Michigan character with fresh, sophisticated details.

From the reclaimed wood beams and custom cabinetry to the blue-and-white palette, statement lighting, and performance fabrics, every detail was carefully selected to create a home that is both beautiful and beautifully livable.

I’m incredibly grateful to my wonderful clients for trusting me with their vision, and to the talented architects, contractors, artisans, and vendors who helped bring this project to life.

Thank you, Hour Detroit, for recognizing this project and sharing its story. 🤍
