It’s Reddy Kilowatt time!!!

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting a very cool guy known as “Roamin Rich”.

Rich heard about Neon Road from a referral. I’d like to thank Chris L Dupont for recommending Neon Road to Rich!!

Back in January, Rich reached out to me to discuss a very special neon sign build for a very special project. Turns out Rich is a very passionate US Route 66 historian and is highly regarded in this space. He also happens to have a deep appreciation for neon art and the history of neon signs that were used to represent small mom and pop business establishments along historic US Route 66….

It was then, that I found out about the Reddy Kilowatt neon sign that Rich was interested in commissioning Neon Road to build for the Shamrock Court located along side of historic US Route 66 in Sullivan, MO!!

If you have not heard about this restoration project I highly recommend you visit the page Saving The Shamrock Court! - Sullivan MO

Rich and his wife originally purchased this little Route 66 motor lodge in order to save it. Rich explained to me when he bought it, it was just a mess. The amount of $$$, work and renovations that Rich has invested into this little gem is amazing. I know once he officially gets The Shamrock Court open (which I believe is next month) this little jewel located in Sullivan, Mo will be sold out 7 days/week and 52 weeks/ year. He actually plans to have a very special room known as “the neon room” which is where the Reddy Kilowatt sign that Neon Road built will be displayed at amongst some other neon pieces….

I would like to thank “Roamin Rich” for trusting Neon Road and allowing us the opportunity to build such a super cool piece for such a super cool place!!! I told Rich that if I agreed to build this sign that Jill and I get a free night stay in the neon room at the Shamrock Court!!!!🤣🤣

It doesn’t get much more patriotic than this!!! How about a red, white and blue, “AMERICAN” gas and oil neon sign!!!

Neon Road built this very special piece for a great guy located in Gillette, WY! I’d like to thank my new customer “Cody” for allowing us to build this very special piece for him!! Cody was extremely excited and blown away with this new piece once it arrived at his place. This piece is 6’ across by almost 5’ tall. I cannot wait until Cody sends me pictures of this beautiful neon sign hanging on the wall of his hot rod garage!!!

This is no surprise! Congratulations James Arthur Design Co.!!! 👏💯

Thinking about a rebrand?
Before you touch a logo, color palette, or website… pause. Most businesses don’t have a design problem; they have a strategy problem. A new look won’t fix unclear messaging or weak positioning.

In our latest blog, we break down 3 questions every business should ask before investing in a rebrand, and why answering them honestly can save you serious time and money.

Neon is classic, distinctive and something you just can't help staring at. If you hear a vinyl record being played, it sounds different than what you're used to and you pay attention. Neon is the same, only for your eyes.....
