To all my livestock producing customers, I feel the need to clear up some confusion concerning my work status. It has come back to me that many of you have been given the impression that I am no longer in the feed business. That is not at all correct.
I have been in this business for nearly 30 years, my customers trust me and I work hard to take care of them. To have someone spreading rumors that I am no longer committed to my customers and questioning my integrity is extremely frustrating. The feed business is an extremely small world, if you don’t have integrity you won’t survive. I have survived and my customers have benefited from my experience.
As of March 11 at 3:34 PM, I am no longer associated with Suther Feeds in any capacity.
I am currently employed full time with Central Plains Milling out of Columbus, NE. Russ Vering, the owner of CPM, has been a good friend and business confidant of mine for nearly 20 years. He is the most honest person in the feed industry that I know. We offer custom mineral formulas, tubs, cubes, creep feed and an excellent line of show feeds. We are also considerably more competitively priced. We have MOS formulas ( I was actually the first person to use MOS in a bovine application), omega 3 formulas, protein mineral, heat stress and fly control. We design feed and mineral programs for each of our clients based on their operation and production goals.
Jana Lewis Myers will also operate G7 Feed and Supply out of both Maywood and Ansley. She offers CPM products and LG Seed corn.
Nothing has changed for you, my friends and customers, other than I will be offering similar products at better prices.
Thanks for letting me vent, and trust me, if I ever decide to retire, I will personally contact each of you and let you know. I consider so many of you to be friends and I truly care for your families and your operations.
