What a wonderful morning at CenterWell on Capitol Boulevard in Raleigh for our Aging With Confidence seminar! 💙

It was such a privilege to speak with seniors about what it truly means to age with confidence and feel prepared for every step of the journey.

We brought together professionals from different areas of senior care and planning—from real estate and downsizing, elder law, home care, senior placement, and Medicare—so attendees could hear valuable information all in one place.

What a wonderful morning at the Dementia Capable Cares August Networking Social, featuring Dr. Heather Altman! 💜

It was so great seeing familiar faces, connecting with new ones, and sharing ideas with such an incredible group of people who all have one thing in common: a passion for helping seniors living with dementia.

We were especially proud to see the Town of Cary represented, as they continue to show how much they care about creating a safe, supportive community for seniors and their families. 💜

A huge thank you to The Reserve at Mills Farm for hosting such a wonderful event today! We enjoyed the camaraderie, the conversations, the laughter, and sharing ideas about how we can continue to make a difference for those living with dementia.

Collaboration over coffee is one of my favorite parts of what I do! ☕💙
I had such a wonderful time meeting with Marla Briscoe Benton to share ideas, collaborate, and talk about ways we can better serve older adults and their families.
I'm excited to share that Eyes on Seniors will be included as a resource on her new website, SAGE Senior Aging. It's an honor to be part of a network of professionals dedicated to helping seniors age with dignity, confidence, and the support they deserve.

Some people leave a lasting impression on your heart, and this sweet lady is definitely one of them. ❤️
I had the privilege of helping her and her family find the right home at Spring Arbor of Apex. Because her family lived so far away, they entrusted me with visiting her twice a week—spending time with her, making sure she was doing well, and keeping them updated with regular reports so they could have peace of mind.
Now, she'll be moving up north to be closer to her family. While I know this is the best next step for her, I'm truly going to miss our visits. She has been an absolute joy to know, and I'm grateful to have been a small part of her journey.
This is what I love most about what I do—not just helping families find the right senior living community, but continuing to be there when they need extra support.
Wishing you all the love and happiness in this next chapter. You'll be missed! 💙

Thank you to everyone who attended today's Rise & Thrive networking event at The Willows at Raleigh, and a special thank you to Michelle Buxser Mustian and Bryan for hosting.
Although I facilitate sound healing professionally, sharing it with my peers in the senior living community definitely took me outside my comfort zone.
This morning I came across these words, and they felt perfect for today:

"Your secret blessing is that no matter where you go in time and space, you only ever have to be yourself... to find yourself amongst friends."

Thank you for showing up with open minds, open hearts, and a willingness to experience something new. I hope everyone who attended took away something meaningful they can carry into their daily lives. If today's experience sparked any questions, I'm always happy to connect. 💙✨
