Sanibel Transportation Master Plan Focus Group Interviews

The Sanibel Transportation Master Plan Focus Group Interviews have provided our team with valuable insight to help identify improvements across the island for the 5‑, 10‑, 15‑, and 20‑year planning horizons. We’ve appreciated hearing the diverse perspectives and priorities shared by community members throughout this process.

Public Involvement for this effort is led by Mellisa Martin with 24‑7 Consulting, ensuring that community voices remain at the center of the planning process. Over two days, we conducted four interview sessions with representatives from across the island.

Our Public Workshop will be held on March 26 at the City of Sanibel Community House from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Following the workshop, we will compile all comments received and prepare recommendations for the City and County this fall for consideration of adoption.
