The irony between need vs mindset to implement software is the bullet you put in your own foot. Two things we try to solve with every client:
1. Build a software solution to automate processes without "complicating" it.

As a leader, removing the word "You" in a statement can significantly improve the perception and response of the receiver. Look at the two pairs of sentences below. In each pair, we attempt to re-word the accountability question removing "you", but maintaining the objective.

1a. Why were you late turning in the project?
2a. What delayed the project?

1b. You need to do a better job following up.
2b. It would be beneficial to improve follow-up.

I am intrigued by the irony in the movement to eliminate "female", "black", or other minority labels from the phrase "I am a..." Obviously, as a white male, my ability to experience at a deep-level is unattainable. the dichotomy of this issue between recognition (wanting respect or acknowledgment for your successes because you likely had to overcome challenges as a minority) and separation (the desire to eliminate those labels because you know the inclusion of those words suggests you are "less than" the labelless title.
