Every Feng Shui analysis or audit you have ever done rests on one number: the facing.
Here is the part most tools quietly get wrong. A satellite map always points to True North. A magnetic compass points to Magnetic North. The gap between them, the magnetic declination, changes with your location and even with the year. Get the facing wrong by a few degrees, and your Flying Stars chart is built on the wrong orientation.
So I built a web Luopan that fixes this at the root:
You bring up the building on a real satellite map and place the 24-Mountain ring directly over the actual rooftop, aligned to the facing you measured on site, with no reliance on a floor plan that may be drawn the wrong way.
It reads the facing in degrees and corrects for declination using the IGRF-14 model, the same geomagnetic reference the scientific world uses. I validated the values against official reference data.
One compass carries 6 rings: San Yuan with the 24 Mountains, the 12 Branches, the San He Luopan with its Man, Earth and Heaven plates, Ba Zhai (the 8 Mansions), the 64 Hexagrams, and the 72 Dragons. Whichever system you work in, the same accurate facing sits underneath.
Export the ring as a transparent overlay straight onto your floor plan, and read the Xuan Kong Flying Stars chart, computed for you.
