Got the platen leveled and ran some test prints last night on this newly refurbished and painted Kelsey 5x8. Brand new rollers ($200) from Todd's Press Time and brand new roller hooks (about $75 with shipping) from NA Graphics. These machines were built to last.

Dabbling in typewriters after finding an Oliver No. 9 at our museum and working on refurb. Somehow I got in a rabbit hole and discovered the "Linowriter Typewriter." I'd never seen an Oliver a month ago. Now I see this! Thank you, interwebs.
