The day started out cold and not much wind but we had a slot walleyes and a keeper in only a few minutes. Fishing’s now in 20 to 25 fow with jig and half crawler moving slowly through the depths the fish are being seen. By 10 o’clock we had 3 keepers 2 slots 1 short walleye and 3 white fish. Made a move and we we had 3 more keepers in one hour and it was 1 o’clock another fine day on the water, thanks Kelly. Friday started me alone on a really big lake in wind over 10 mph, no pictures in the morning but my first walleye was 28” then two more and a 19” bass . The wind switched a little and that spot was unfishable so off to the middle of the lake with a little less wind, there I caught a a 19 3/4” keeper. Greg called me and he came over and jumped in the boat. We had 4 more big walleyes in 2 1/2 hours. Saturday was Sean and Holden in the boat all day. Same lake we caught 8 and one was a 19” bass we fished around 17 fow both days with jigs and minnows. Even with the wind it was a fun day. Thanks guys I had days open 715-614-1367 text me.

On the willow again yesterday fishing walleyes and crappies with Leonard and Roger. Dam we had to work for the walleyes and the wind was not bad. We caught around 30 with only 3 being keepers on jig and minnows. The crappies were tight to the bottom and not really on any kind of wood just in areas more around out in front of where there going in to spawn. Jig and plastic got us only 5 nice ones with a few small ones. We caught 5 small mouth bass 5 Northern’s we kept 3 to clean for their fish fry. Thanks guys was a good time out there. Yesterday was Scott and John in the boat, we caught two 15” keepers walleyes right away on split shot and a hook with a minnow. We made a move on the lake but couldn’t get a bite on a minnow so started using night crawler and a jig. Fishing with them was a lot of fun and we caught some nice fishing. Three shorts two white fish and six keepers and a 22” slot, 27” was are big walleye . Thanks guys had a great time. I have the 11th 17th 18th and the 20th open 715-614-1367 text me.

Well with opening weekend come and gone, had Chris and Dave in the boat both days. Saturday was very slow in the morning with only one walleye keeper. 10 o’clock the wind picked up to about 8-9 mph. Dam lots of boats left as the wind blew and the walleyes really started to hit. We caught keepers and slot fish with one going 27” and we had are 9 keepers 4 slots and 1 over. Thanks guys was a fun day even though it was cold. I have 12 days open still in may if anyone wants to get out 715-614-1367 give me a text.

Tuesday we were at Menominee, I had school teacher Dan and John in the boat. Started out on the lake down from the mouth of the river dragging jigs on the bottom with fathead minnows in 25 fow or less. We caught a 29 1/4” beautiful walleye in the first half hour then nothing. After a couple hours we moved back in the river with 3/8 oz jigs and minnows first pass caught another 29” then lost one and a few hours of nothing. We moved up above the 41 bridge and caught 3 smaller ones in a hour. I booking trips for the minocqua area now anyone interested text me at 715-614-1367 thanks @

First time this spring out on the Menominee river fishing walleyes. Dan and I were there early fished around and hour till are first walleye. It was slow in the morning in the river we did catch 4 biggest was 24” male was milking. Moved out onto the lake, lots of ice out there we looked at one of the waypoints I have and walleyes were everywhere. We caught another 4 walleyes before the ice moved over the area and it was done. We used 3/8 jigs and large fathead minnow's. Thanks Dan always fun out there with you. @

Well caught a lot of walleye’s in the last two days Tuesday was Dan in the boat, great weather for fishing the pride dam. Walleye’s were on fire, we had ice for the first hour moving all around us. We caught a few keepers and a few shorts that first hour in the ice. That second hour it was one after another and three more keepers but that last keeper we worked for it , was done at 11. Wednesday was a lot harder, AJ fished with me till 3 o’clock and we caught around 40 walleyes and only three were keepers and one really nice northern and a big perch, both great days a lot of fun thanks guys. Always fun fishing with Dan and made a new friend AJ. Walleye’s are biting and I have days for river and ice fishing still going on text me for information 715-614-1367.

Out today with Alex and Vince on the Wisconsin River walleye fishing below the dam. Started out slow 1 keeper and a few short walleye’s in the first two hours. As the day went on the walleyes really bit much better on 3/16 jigs and minnows. We ended with around 50 walleyes of which 7 were keepers. Was Chris and I in the boat today, started early and again we had a lot of ice to deal with for a few hours. Was very slow this morning but at 10 o’clock it was on . 3 keepers in 15 minutes and a short on every other cast and 3 more hours and 3 more keepers. We caught around 50 walleyes on 3/16 oz jigs and minnows. Thanks Chris good to see you again back in the boat. 715-614-1367 text me for details thanks.
