El 2.º Foro de Negocios Latinos, la única conferencia empresarial en español de Humboldt, se llevará a cabo el sábado 7 de noviembre, de 9:00 a.m. a 2:30 p.m., en el Wharfinger Building en Eureka.

El tema de este año, Preparándonos para el Futuro, reúne las ideas, herramientas y conexiones que las empresas y emprendedores locales necesitan para prosperar. La Cámara de Comercio Humboldt, anfitriona de la cumbre, está comprometida a ayudar a nuestros miembros a comprender las tendencias emergentes y los caminos reales hacia el crecimiento empresarial.

El programa incluye expertos en temas como IA, preparación financiera, acceso a apoyo para pequeñas empresas y emprendimiento, incluyendo al orador principal Marcos Fierro, propietario de siete restaurantes locales exitosos. The 2nd Annual Latino Business Summit, Humboldt's only Spanish-language business conference, is coming up on Saturday, November 7, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka.

This year’s theme, Preparing for the Future, brings together the insights, tools, and connections local businesses and entrepreneurs need to thrive. Cámara de Comercio Humboldt, the host of the summit, is committed to helping our members understand emerging trends and real‑world pathways to business growth.

The program features expert speakers on AI, financial readiness, access to small business support, and entrepreneurship, including keynote speaker Marcos Fierro, owner of seven successful local restaurants. Attendees will also hear fresh perspectives from Cal Poly’s Entrepreneurs Club and learn about services available through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), financial institutions, and other partner organizations.

El taller en línea “Creación de contenido estático atractivo” está a solo tres días, y aún hay tiempo para registrarte. Durante esta sesión aprenderás a superponer texto y fotografías, crear diseños personalizados, aplicar degradados, desarrollar una paleta de colores uniforme, usar efectos de desenfoque y marcos, transformar una imagen estática en video y utilizar el traductor de proyectos de Canva. El evento se presentará en español, con traducción al inglés disponible.
