Beautiful Moment: Japanese World Cup Fans Explain Why They Always Clean Up Stadiums
FIFA asked a Japanese woman why their fans stay behind to pick up trash and leave stadiums spotless after every match.
Her response was perfect:
“It’s our culture. But it’s also a sign of respect toward the country and stadium that welcomes us and toward our players. For us, it’s an honor to be received here, and we couldn’t leave everything a mess.”
While some fans trash venues and act entitled, the Japanese continue to show incredible discipline, gratitude, and respect.
This is true class and sportsmanship.
Japan sets the standard once again.
