The big picture is impressive… but the details are where a project like this really comes together. 👀
For the Chickasaw Nation Child Development Center in Ada, these graphics weren’t designed as simple wall panels. Every room had its own challenges — corners, doors, windows, vents, equipment, and transitions from one wall to the next.
That meant the artwork had to be planned to flow with the space, not fight against it.
Trees wrap around corners. Rivers continue across adjoining walls. Characters are positioned around architectural features. Even areas that could have easily interrupted the artwork became part of the finished environment.
Projects like this are a great reminder that large-format graphics are about a lot more than printing something big. The design, production, and installation all have to work together.
We loved getting to bring all those little details together on this one!

One building. A whole lot of different worlds. 🌲🌊🐢🦊

One of our favorite things about the Chickasaw Nation Child Development Center project in Ada is just how much variety there is from room to room.

Walk through one space and you’re surrounded by forests, rivers, and playful woodland animals. Turn the corner and you may find yourself underwater with turtles and fish. Keep going and there’s another completely different scene waiting for you.

The goal wasn’t simply to decorate the walls. It was to help create spaces that feel fun, welcoming, and full of imagination for the kids who use them every day.
And with artwork covering walls throughout the facility, there was no shortage of opportunities to do something creative!

This project has been years in the making, and seeing all of these environments finally installed has been incredibly rewarding.

Years in the making... and finally complete! 🎉

We are incredibly excited to finally share one of the biggest projects we’ve had the privilege of working on — the Chickasaw Nation Child Development Center in Ada, Oklahoma!

This project goes way beyond putting graphics on a wall. These spaces were transformed into colorful, immersive environments designed for kids to explore, learn, and enjoy every day. From forests and rivers filled with playful characters to underwater scenes and room-spanning artwork, there is something new to discover around practically every corner.

And when we say this was a BIG project, we mean it. 😅 We have dozens and dozens of finished photos, and these are only a small look at everything that went into the Ada location.

We’re especially grateful to the Chickasaw Nation for trusting HGX with a project of this size and for allowing us to be part of creating these spaces for children and families.

And Ada is only part of the story — we’re also working on Child Development Center projects in Tishomingo and Purcell, so there is plenty more to come!

A door is one of the first things people see when they enter a facility—why not make it part of the experience?

We recently completed a series of custom door graphics for Wilson FFA, transforming ordinary entrances into bold displays of school pride, agricultural education, and student achievement.

From the iconic FFA emblem to livestock programs, shooting sports, and Eagle branding, each entrance was designed to celebrate the different aspects of the Wilson FFA program while creating a professional, cohesive appearance across the facility.
