Tree Down

Update the tree has been removed. Thanks to public works for the help.

A tree is down on North Norwood Rd. blocking both lanes close to the dollar store please use alternate routes.

Our first Water Wars in Saw Mill Court.

We had a blast and I think everyone else did to! We will post some videos in the comments.

This might happen more this summer but we will let yall know.

We got hit with all kinds of things water balloons, water hoses, water guns, and even a pressure washer.

What a great community we get to serve!

Whether you’re responding to emergencies, working long hours, coaching a ball team, helping with homework, or simply being there when it matters most, your commitment does not go unnoticed.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the lessons you teach, and the example you set for the next generation.

⚠️ Power Lines Down – Use Caution ⚠️

Power lines are down in the area of Adkison Road and Highway 280 East after a tree fell onto the lines.

CHELCO crews are on scene working to restore power. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through the area, as the downed lines are located on a curve and may be difficult to see.

🚧 Please slow down, watch for emergency and utility personnel, and avoid the area if possible until repairs are completed.

If you encounter downed power lines, stay away and do not attempt to move them. Always assume power lines are energized and dangerous.

A power line is down on the east side of German Club Road.

🚧 The road is currently closed.
💡 Power is out in the area.
⚠️ Please use caution and avoid the area if possible.

Florida Power & Light has been notified and is responding to the scene.

Please do not approach or attempt to move any downed power lines. Always assume they are energized and dangerous.

Just a reminder

💦🚒 WATER WARS 2026! 🚒💦

What would summer be without getting a little wet?

On June 20th, the Argyle Fire District is heading to Saw Mill Court to find out who's going to win the ultimate Water Wars battle... the firefighters or the kids? 😎

Our plan is simple: drive through the neighborhood and soak anyone who wants the "smoke" (AKA WATER 💦)!

If you plan to participate, grab your:
🔫 Water guns
💧 Water balloons
🚿 Water hoses
😄 And your best game face!

Be prepared to get soaked and have some summer fun with your local firefighters. We can't wait to see everyone out there!

Semi Fire

Argyle was dispatched to a semi fir on I-10 this morning. Crews arrived on the scene to find the passenger side rear tires on fire.

The driver had disconnected from the refrigerant trailer and pulled forward to prevent more damage to the trailer.

The trailer suffered minor damage. Thanks to FHP, Defuniak Springs FD, Walton S.O., and Walton FR.

This turtle/ tortoise  🐢 is going places. We don’t have many of these that visit. Most of the time they are furry ones of some type.
