Reach Fiber Network Community,

We are reaching out again because we heard from one of our customers that The Port of Woodland has sent out a letter to inform our customers that they will be disconnected on the 27th of February.

Please know that Reach is currently negotiating with the Port and our hope is to resolve this dispute as soon as possible so we can go back to doing what we do best – serving you. Despite rumors being spread, Reach is not refusing to “pay its bills” or communicate with the Port. In fact, the opposite is true.

Please be patient, which is what we are trying to do as we negotiate with the Port. This has been an incredibly frustrating situation for Reach, and we recognize that it is frustrating for you too. Reach is still hopeful that Port will do the right thing and honor its promises so we can all put this behind us.

Important Service Advisory: Reach Fiber Network System Maintenance

This is an upcoming critical system maintenance on our fiber network. This necessary work will allow us to enhance the reliability and performance of our services for the future.

Maintenance Window:

Our planned maintenance will take place on 8/19/2025 from 12:00AM to 1:30AM PST

Impact on Services:

During this maintenance window, all Reach Fiber Network services will be temporarily unavailable. This includes:

Internet Service: You will not be able to access the internet.

Phone Service: Your Reach Fiber phone line will be down, and you will be unable to make or receive calls.

911 Emergency Service: Critically, you will not be able to dial 911 using your Reach Fiber phone line during the maintenance period.

What to Expect:

Complete Outage: Please be prepared for a complete outage of all Reach Fiber services for the duration of the maintenance window.

No Partial Service: Unfortunately, partial service restoration will not be possible during this time.

No Estimated Restoration Time: While we aim to complete the maintenance as efficiently as possible, the restoration time provided is an estimate. We will work diligently to minimize any disruption.

Alternative Communication: We strongly advise you to make alternative communication arrangements for the duration of the outage, especially for emergency situations. This may include having a charged cell phone or knowing the location of a nearby landline.

Why This Maintenance is Necessary:

This scheduled maintenance is crucial for upgrading critical infrastructure. By completing this work, we can ensure a more reliable and higher-quality service experience for you in the long run.

Hello Neighbors,

Fiber Service Status

We are reaching out to let you know that Reach Fiber Network is ready to launch service for your area. However, The Port of Woodland has informed us they have run into some construction delays and are working diligently to resolve them as quickly as possible. Once the Port of Woodland is complete, we will be able to provide service immediately, estimated mid to end of September.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be contacting you to set up early installations if you have an orange conduit (pipe) to your house from the Port of Woodland we can get you installed and ready for the service launch sometime in September. We will need someone over the age of 18 at the time of installation.

Modem/ONT Status

If you have purchased a modem/ONT and have not received it yet our technicians will be bringing it out on the installation date of your choosing. Feel free to call us at 855-596-2705 and schedule installation appointment.

RFN has sourced state-of-the-art modems/ONT and fiber technology that is far superior to others on the market, and we are excited to offer our customers this opportunity to own their modem/ONT instead of leasing with a monthly fee that adds up to thousands over time. We know some people have had questions about this up-front purchase and the team here at RFN want you to know our goal is to provide exceptional service at a reasonable rate and not to nickel and dime our customers. If you are having trouble making the one-time purchase of the modem/ONT and would like to receive RFN service, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate you. We are a locally owned and operated company right in Ariel, WA, and we look forward to providing the best service for our community for many years to come.

For those who have signed up but have not yet ordered your modem/ONT it is now time to get it ordered to avoid delay in setting up your service. Please go to https://rfninternet.com to order. Once you sign up you can order your modem/ONT. By getting on the list and ordering your modem/ONT we will ensure there won’t be any delays getting you serviced once the line has reached your home. The modem/ONT is required before we can install fiber to your residence.
