September can feel like a fresh start without needing to reinvent everything. 🌿

Take a moment to reflect on what you’re carrying, what you’re ready to leave behind, and what you want to prioritize this month.

You don’t need all the answers right away. Sometimes asking the right questions is where change begins.

Save this for your September check in or share it with someone who might need it. 🤍

As summer comes to an end, give yourself permission to pause before rushing into what’s next. 🌿

Take a moment to reflect on everything this season held—the growth, the memories, the challenges, and even the moments when simply making it through was enough.

You don’t need to enter a new season as a completely new person. You can move forward gently, carrying what nourished you and releasing what no longer serves you.

What are you honoring from this summer? 🤍

Healing isn’t about feeling better every single day, having everything figured out, or never returning to difficult places.

Sometimes, healing looks like revisiting the same patterns with greater awareness. It’s catching yourself a little sooner, responding with more compassion, and moving through hard moments differently than you did before.

Progress may not always be linear but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. 🤍

Save this reminder for a difficult day or share it with someone who needs it.

POV: summer gave you enough material for the next 6 months of therapy 😭🧳

Whether this summer brought changes, relationship drama, family stress, big feelings, unexpected transitions… or just a lot, therapy can be a space to finally unpack it all.

You don’t have to carry everything into the next season with you.

Back to school season affects the whole family. Give yourselves time to adjust, make space for emotions, and protect small moments of connection. Your family doesn’t need a perfect transition, just patience, consistency, and support. 🌿

You don’t need to feel motivated to move forward. Start small, do what you can, and let that be enough for today.

It’s Friday, so we’re joining the trend. 🤍

Kinda chic to go to therapy, process your feelings, communicate your needs, set boundaries, break old patterns, and invest in your relationships.

Which one are you embracing this season?

“Are you going to take sides?”

No. 🌿

My job isn’t to decide who’s right.

It’s to help you both understand what’s actually happening underneath the argument.

Because it’s almost never about what you think it’s about.

The fight about dishes? Feeling unseen.
The silence at dinner? Feeling disconnected.
The same argument on repeat? Two people scared of losing each other who don’t know how to say it.

That’s what couples therapy gets to.

Not the argument. The ache underneath it.

Back to school season can bring more than new routines and school supplies. For many children, teens, and parents, it can activate real anxiety before the first day even arrives.

Anticipatory anxiety can make the brain respond as though a threat is already happening. Therapy can help recognize these patterns, regulate the nervous system, and approach change with greater confidence and safety.

Accepting new clients across Illinois. Visit the link in our bio to get started. 🤍
