Chief Pridgen’s life was defined by strength, selfless service, and a deep commitment to protecting and uplifting others. His leadership, loyalty, and dedication—especially through his service with Longhorn Protective Group—left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. Though he has answered his final call, his spirit and impact will live on through the many lives he touched.

We at Longhorn Protective Group extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to those involved.

The U.S. Marshals Service confirms that one Deputy U.S. Marshal has been shot and killed during a fugitive warrant operation in Charlotte, North Carolina. Several other Marshals Service task force members and local officers were also shot and wounded. We cannot confirm the number of officers wounded or their condition. We refer you to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, which is conducting the investigation. This matter is still active and ongoing. We are withholding the name of the Deputy pending the notification of family members.
