Quick story that I think you'll recognize.
Someone on your team asks for honest feedback. You give it to them. It doesn't go well. Next time they ask, you give them the version that keeps the peace.
That's not a character flaw. That's just what happens. We all do it.
But here’s the catch: the same thing is happening to you. At some point, something taught your team that the truth isn’t worth the risk.
And so it shows up like this:
▪️The meeting ends and the real issue never got named
▪️ Someone nods along and you find out later they had serious doubts
▪️ You ask how things are going and the answer is always "good"
Your team already knows what you want to hear. The question is — what is that costing you?
It's 3 minutes. I think it'll land: https://zurl.co/9EN64
Would love to hear what stands out for you.
