We are proud to announce that SONUS Technical Solutions, a Joint Venture between Sophinea Corporation and NiSUS Technologies Corporation, has been selected as an awardee under NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI, Category C: IT Mission-Based Services contract vehicle.

This award reflects the combined strengths of Sophinea and NiSUS in delivering mission-focused technology, data, analytics, AI, cybersecurity, engineering, and IT support services for federal customers. Through SEWP VI Category C, SONUS will help agencies access the technical expertise and small business agility needed to support complex mission environments.
Sophinea brings deep experience in data engineering, analytics, AI governance, secure reporting, mission dashboards, and training that helps agencies move from data strategy to operational capability. NiSUS brings extensive experience supporting the US government through rapid development, prototyping, systems engineering, software development, and implementation of cost-effective solutions to complex mission challenges.

Together, Sophinea and NiSUS are positioned to help federal agencies modernize systems, strengthen mission operations, and deploy secure, scalable technology solutions through one of the federal government’s premier acquisition vehicles.

We are grateful to our employees, partners, customers, and stakeholders whose dedication and support made this achievement possible. We look forward to supporting the federal community through SEWP VI and continuing to deliver trusted, mission-focused solutions with excellence!

Anthropic put out a piece this week that is worth ten minutes of your time, even if you do not work in tech.

The short version: AI has started helping build AI and they have released number to project the impact.

Claude, their AI model, wrote more than 80% of the code Anthropic shipped last month. Two years ago that was almost none of it. Their engineers are now getting roughly 8x as much done per day as they were in 2024. And the length of tasks these systems can handle on their own keeps doubling every few months.

The one thing people still do better than the machines is judgment. Knowing which problem is worth solving, which answer to trust, when to walk away from a bad idea. That is still very much a human job.

But it does make you think about where this goes. If a small company can soon do the work of a big one, the hard part stops being how much you can produce and becomes whether you can trust it and stand behind it.

Anyway, good read if you are curious where this is all heading:

Our progress toward recursive self-improvement, and its implications.

AI is amplifying both the value and the risk of data, which makes strong data governance more critical than ever.

Why it matters now:
- Trust: AI models amplify errors and bias unless the underlying data is vetted.
- Compliance: Regulations are tightening; traceable data lineage and consent management are non-negotiable.
- Security: More data flows and model access create new attack surfaces.
- Quality & ROI: Clean, well-governed data improves model performance and business outcomes.
- Accountability: Clear ownership and documentation make audits and model explainability possible.

Start small: map critical datasets, enforce access controls, track lineage, and add bias checks into model pipelines. What governance step will you prioritize this quarter?
