Companies have been managing operations, accounting, distribution, reporting, projects and just about everything else for over 20 years with Dynamics GP. There is an old saying "If it aint broke, don't fix it." - sometimes this is applicable and sometimes not. There is no doubt that we are experiencing amazing improvements in technology. Technology is not "broken" and it may not need to be "fixed" but technology doesn't rest, it never will. So how does all of this new technology help ERP systems? It's not an easy answer, at the core, accounting, is accounting, is accounting. With that said, processes change, businesses change, people change but there are some things that just don't change all that much. How Dynamics GP users see and value new technology has been meaningful for us to witness in real time. As we look down the road with our customers (who all use Dynamics GP) we are finding a common theme :: Dynamics GP is their solution of choice to carry their businesses forward. Existing users will continue to leverage and enhance their investments in Dynamics GP :: There's a line that technology doesn't cross or have an impact on no matter what is being said, done, developed, transformed (you get the point). Investment spends in/on/around ERP systems are not trivial, they are meant to have staying power, they are spent to be leveraged, they are protected by institutional knowledge, they can be both loved and dreaded at the same time. BUT, no matter what technology does for ERP, it all comes to one thing, the cost benefit of changing ERP's for the sake of technology (licensing, subscriptions, implementation, business disruption and etc...) Some battles are worth it, others not so much. We all know the next greatest thing in ERP technology is coming...when is it again?

Hey everyone, the hockey team we sponsor, the , did something amazing "off the ice" this season. They created a video in support of the town of Dunrobin Canada after it was hit by a tornado in 2018. The video was presented to the Chevy and they made it to the final "3" and are in the running to win a $100,000 donation for their cause, the Dunrobin Disaster Relief Fund. The kids worked hard on the video, spreading the word and they need just a little more help!! So please take 2 minutes and copy and paste this " great job on the and way to support your community. The Corrector is our newest solution for Dynamics GP. When a coding mistake is made during the GL posting process, correcting it can be accomplished several ways - none of them are ideal and they all take too long and cause problems later on down the line. With The Corrector, you correct the mistake from the transaction level in the sub-module (AP, AR, Cash, Inventory, SOP or POP) and build an audit trail and link the correcting entry to the original problem.
