🔹 Meet the team! 🔹

The last member of the team is me, JQ. Hi. I’m a junior public relations major at UTA and i just started working on my marketing minor (so this opportunity is just PERFECT for that 👀) I consider the three major food groups to be coffee, avocados, and chocolate. I’m often told to get my head out of the clouds, but i refuse because i like the view from here too much. When I’m not daydreaming, I’m probably watching the office, and if we end up going to Europe i highly plan on bartering Red Bull for a tattoo (sorry Mum).

(Isn’t it so weird to write things about yourself?)

(Yeah it’s weird. I don’t know how people write autobiographies.)

I think i can make it because this kind of challenge suits my personality. I’m a very adventurous person, and I’m a very go-with-the-flow, in the moment kind of person. This allows me to roll with any challenges or last minute hiccups with ease, because i embrace it with a positive attitude rather than get stressed that things aren’t going according to plan.

🔹 Meet the Team! 🔹

Our next team member is Vishesh Gupta, or “V” as we call him! V is a sophomore computer science major at UTA. An avid chess player, V recognizes the importance of strategy, something he intends to take to Europe. A soccer lover as well, one thing V hopes to do if chosen to go to Europe is visit Old Trafford, or “The Theatre of Dreams”, the stadium where his favorite team plays.


(If we run into Lukaku and Ibrahimović, there will be absolutely 0 complaints.)

V believes he can make it because, “One of my biggest strengths is to adapt to different cultures and their customs. Having lived in various countries, I feel like I'm equipped to take on and figure out my way through Europe! I've also taken part in various marathons and triathlons, so I'm definitely ready to run across Europe with nothing but Redbull cans as currency!”

🔹 Meet the Team! 🔹

The first member of The Mix is Lexi! Lexi is a sophomore film major currently residing in San Antonio. She loves EDM and aspires to shuffle on top of the Eiffel Tower ( 👀). She is a creative genius behind the camera, and is the mastermind behind our submission video, putting together all of the clips on her PHONE in less than a day. The last time this Lil Ma finessed was when she got into the Nghtmre concert for free, acting as press. One of the opening acts, Crizzly, ended up offering her the chance to go on tour with him as a photographer.

(Yeah, she’s that good.)

Lexi believes she can make it because, “I have the best vibes and I love sharing that with other people so that they can go spread the love too! I can make it because I’m ready to tackle any situation at anytime— I just go with the flow and see where my adventures will take me!!”

Hey guys! One of our favorite parts of this challenge so far has been the chance to connect with people all over the world who share the same dream: To go to Europe. We also loved getting to watch the other team’s video entries; each video is different and there was so much creativity and such a sense of adventure displayed in each. (It Lowkey got almost addicting watching Red Bull video entries 😅)

One of our favorite videos was made by friends of ours in Malaysia! Team K.A.T’s video legitimately looked like a Red Bull commercial. If you have the time, you should check it out! They worked so hard on their video and it definitely deserves some recognition.

200+ student teams from 60+ countries across the globe will have seven days to travel across Europe using only cans of Red Bull as currency. It’s a journey of adventure, charm and strategy that leaves one question: Can You Make It?

& just like that, WE’RE FINALISTS!!!!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who voted, shared, marketed, helped us harass people for votes, who dealt with us harassing them (JQ, being Canadian and catholic, is especially apologetic because she knows she was annoying af 😅). We could NOT have done this without you guys. Even just having the opportunity to be a finalist is incredible, and we’ve all learned so much from this journey and from the people we’ve met along the way so far. We ended up having either the third or fourth most amount of votes in our region, and now it’s all up to the judges. We’ll keep you guys updated, but again, thank you so much for all of your help and support as we try to embark on the journey of a lifetime ✈️🌏
