6 years and countless memories! My little protein bar bake shop has to go offline, but I am so grateful for all of the love & support I've received from the DMV community and beyond. has been way more than baking to me - this company changed my life. I was a law school dropout with a crazy dream and no clue how to make it happen. One step at a time and piece by piece, I built KB into a company I am extremely proud of. I've learned *so much* about food, business and myself along the way. I've come closer to the person I want to be through this business & I can't wait to see what is next!

One way or another, I plan on staying in the food industry so I'll still see many of you around. You'll be able to grab bars in the next week or two at some of our locations - so pop in if you're interested in snagging one. Thank you to everyone who has been a loyal customer over the years, you have given me more than you will ever know. And yes, you can still call me KB/Kate Bakes, nothing would make me happier 😊
