The workforce is changing—and so should our approach to employee benefits.
Employees aren’t retiring at “retirement age” anymore. Improvements in health and the desire to continue working mean employees are staying in the workforce longer. By 2030, workers aged 55+ will make up over 25% of the workforce in developed countries (US, CAN, UK, Germany, Japan, France and Italy). This shift challenges us to rethink how we support all employees, especially older ones. Tailored benefits like flexible work, phased retirement, caregiving support, and menopause resources aren't just perks—they're pathways to engagement and productivity.
Did you know ageism costs businesses an estimated $850 billion annually? It’s time to break stereotypes and embrace age-inclusive workplaces. After all, experience is an asset, not a limitation.
