APFF members, along with members of Pantego Firefighters Association, are battling a four alarm fire in the 2400 block of W Abram. Crews were initially dispatched around 545 this evening, with multiple callers reporting a building on fire. Members arrived quickly to find a large volume of smoke and fire from a commercial building.

Thanks to our friends at Prince Lebanese Grill for helping us quickly get food to the brothers and sisters working on this fire.

With the last soccer game played today, there are 26 sleeps until we welcome our brothers and sisters from the International Association of Fire Fighters for the 58th Convention. This is where leaders will consider resolutions and make decisions that guide the work of our association and the fire service in general.
