Here at Artesia Metals Inc we believe recycling is important to the future of our community and generations to come. Did you know there is still 80% of metal products that end up in our city landfills?? Our goal is to reduce that amount and here's how you can help! There are a few tips we can give you to make recycling your metal easier, faster, and worth it for your wallet! 💲
1. Separate your materials before coming to the yard! Every metal recycler has classifications for different types of ferrous and non ferrous metals. That's right even here at Artesia Metals we intake your scrap based on things like grade, weight, size, etc. Call our office with any questions on how we classify different materials!
2. Don't break any laws! There are plenty of ways to find metal to scrap from your household to office and everything in between. You can also team up with friends or family, but be sure to have complete permission to enter or take of someone's property. We require a valid state ID to be presented with every transaction as proof of ownership.
3. Check local pricing! This is a perfect time to scrap at Artesia Metals!! Prices are up, up, up so you get more bang for your buck 💸💸
