Real World Wildlife Products was founded by real world deer hunters seeking to find the very best foodplot seed products for use on their own properties. After years of frustration using various brands of foodplot seed on the market, they teamed up with an established seed company to begin testing, developing, researching and marketing a new line of wildlife foodplot seeds. Their goal from day-one has been to put out the very best quality products possible and market them at a fair price.

CLOVER ISN'T A "PLANT IT AND FORGET IT" FOOD PLOT.

Many food plotters celebrate when their clover comes up, then ignore it for the rest of the summer.

The truth? Some of the best clover plots in the country are maintained throughout the growing season.

- Mow when weeds begin to compete.
- Soil test regularly.
- Maintain proper fertility.
- Control unwanted grasses and broadleaf weeds.

A little maintenance now can mean a healthier, more attractive food source all season long.

What stage is your clover at right now?

DON HIGGINS BREAKS DOWN HIS ENTIRE ROPE SCRAPE SYSTEM!

If you've ever wondered how Don consistently keeps tabs on mature bucks, this is the video you've been waiting for.

In this step-by-step tutorial, Don explains exactly how he builds rope scrapes, uses Scrape Magnet, positions cameras, and inventories the bucks on a property.

This isn't theory. It's the same system Don has used for years to locate giant whitetails before season.

Watch now and let us know if you use rope scrapes on your farm.

MINERAL ISN'T MAGIC — BUT IT IS IMPORTANT.

One of the biggest misconceptions in the deer world is that a mineral alone will grow bigger antlers.

The truth?

Antler growth is primarily driven by genetics, age, and overall nutrition.

However, a quality mineral program can help support the nutritional needs of your herd during critical periods of the year, especially when does are nursing fawns and bucks are experiencing rapid antler growth.

That's why many land managers make minerals part of a comprehensive year-round deer management program that includes:

- Quality forage
- Healthy soils
- Diverse food sources
- Proper herd management
- Consistent mineral availability

The best deer management programs focus on the entire herd, not just the antlers.

Do you keep mineral sites active year-round or only during the spring and summer?

Helpful info

With many whitetail land managers now planting Generation-2 soybeans for their incredible drawing power, we hear a lot of comments regarding browse pressure on young soybean plants. This can be a real challenge when establishing a soybean plot. Managers use a variety of methods to address heavy browse pressure including higher seeding rates, sprays, and electric fences with varying degrees of success. The extra effort sometimes required to establish soybean plots is well worth it once hunting season begins.

In this photo of a young soybean plant, the cotyledon is circled. If a plant is browsed off above the cotyledon it can recover and continue to grow into a productive plant. However, if the plant is browsed off below the cotyledon it will die. Keep this in mind when making management decisions concerning browse pressure.

This Soil Charge is out there doing the work for us!

This plot was planted close to 4 weeks ago and is flourishing! Soil charge is designed to be a nutritional food source for deer herds while fixing nitrogen to the soil throughout the spring and summer.

We’ll be back in a few months to terminate it and run some Deadly Dozen into the ground!
