… and not one of those days was lacking a full schedule of work. 🙌🏻

I have had the incredible privilege of serving SIXTY-ONE … 6️⃣1️⃣ nonprofits in Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and North Carolina🙌🏻🥳

Ten years ago I bought a box of business cards for $25. The box is still half full and never have I spent another penny on marketing. The power of relational referrals is amazing. 🙌🏻🥳

But most enjoyable of all have been the staff, leadership, volunteers and board members serving in these nonprofits with such a variety of missions in domestic violence, veterans services, theatre, family services, senior care, mentoring, historic preservation, fire services, social improvements, oral health, mental health, early childhood education, churches, libraries, and town governments.

I have spent the last ten years doing exactly what God had planned, purposed and prepared me to do, and my life and my family have been incredibly blessed because of it. No idea what the next ten years will hold, but I do know it’s been an AMAZING decade of serving the needs of nonprofits. 🙌🏻

When I was 13 years old, I’d read fictional books of women, who passionately revitalized fledgingly businesses, like inns, restaurants and stores. I’d imagine myself as the main character and chart out what changes I would make to bring about a new vitality.

40 years later, I’m blown away that God has blessed me with a thriving 8-year old business that does this very thing for nonprofits. 😳💥

My job isn’t an “I have to” … it’s an amazing “I get to”. I get to bring calm to chaos. I get to clean up dysfunction and restore passion for a mission. I get to work along side amazing volunteer boards and organizational leaders, removing the barriers and dissolving their frustrations.

This is no fictional story in a book anymore; it’s my life. So very blessed and thankful that God has purposed me with an “I get to” career.

GIVING THANKS!

Seven years ago I stepped out in faith to a calling of serving the needs of nonprofit boards and leadership. This Thanksgiving is especially meaningful as my business welcomed the 40th nonprofit seeking assistance last week. Forty!!! 🤯😳😍

I so love each and every unique day of being able to help organizations in their time of need. I love when someone asks “so who are you helping now?” Well let me tell you!

The diversity is beautiful!! Veterans, senior citizens, a mental health integration with primary care project, a construction project, telescope makers, family center, dental care, and that was just last week!

Thanking God to be so incredibly blessed, waking up each day knowing every hour I work makes a difference in the lifespan of nonprofits. 🙏🏻🙌🏻🥰

Sitting at my desk this morning going over the work for January has left me thoroughly overwhelmed by the blessings God has given me to help area nonprofits.

Thirty-eight ... 38!! 😳 Nonprofits in New England, and one in Pennsylvania, have allowed me to serve their organizations’ needs since my launch in November 2014! 🥳

It truly is a blessing to meet so many boards and staff, and know that this passion thrives solely by word of mouth.

2020 sucked in many ways, but I’m truly thankful for the blessings of your organizations along the way!!

Five years ago God blessed me with a business to meet the needs of nonprofit boards and staff. Never did I imagine that this week I would not only meet with my 36th nonprofit in this short time 😳, but it would be with an organization in Pennsylvania!!

The Nonprofit First Responders is now serving the needs of nonprofits ... NATIONALLY!!

Thank you so very much to all the nonprofit boards and staff for allowing me to assist your organizations and support your missions. Never could I have thought “work” would be so enjoyable, fulfilling and satisfying.

Lesson: Never put a fence around the dreams God gives you. Looking forward to whatever He has in store for 2020 !! 🙏🏻
