Brickyard will be hosting a Lunch & Learn with Danelle Hayer and Nancy Evanko of Loudoun County Economic Development who will be presenting on Workforce Development & The Loudoun Innovation Challenge, which awarded $150,000 to businesses innovating in everything from AI, biotech, robotics, entertainment and culinary arts.

The presentation will be on Tuesday, June 28 at 12:00 PM, and Nancy will start with a Constructive Workforce Presentation, followed by Danelle who will be outlining The Innovation Challenge, and members get to enjoy a free lunch when they RSVP. So join us next week for an opportunity to network, learn more about Loudoun Economic Development, and enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the LED Team.

It’s not everyday that you have a colleague come into your office and say “Did you see me on TV last night?” Yet here we found ourselves, a few days ago, greeted happily by A.J Perez with that very question!

A.J is a member here at Brickyard Ashburn and is a Senior Reporter for Front Office Sports. A.J. 's extensive experience in sports journalism made him a perfect candidate to be interviewed by several local news stations, given the recent rumblings that Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com, might just be interested in purchasing the Washington Football Team. Loudoun Outreach Services encourage residents of all ages to send valentines and cards to our community's nursing home and assisted living residents who have been isolated due to Covid-19 this past year. Drawings, photos, words of encouragement can brighten someone's day. Letters will be screened and quarantined prior to distribution. I will drop them off to our local library on Feb. 10th.
