An unbelievably stunning and frigid morning watching the sun come up from the Tennessee/North Carolina border on Roan Mountain. I couldn't feel my feet for about an hour after I got home but it was 💯 worth it. I love catching sunrises and learning more about landscape photography with and from the talented . 🏔️❤️🌄

Some of you know that I spent most of 2019 in treatment for breast cancer. I also spent as often as I could, which wasn't very often, doing easy hikes in an attempt to keep my soul from completely withering. I generally brought my camera along even when friends had to carry it for me (I have the best friends!). I am just now getting to editing those photos-& in the fog of chemo and surgery I just forgot about them. Most of the images are crap, but occasionally I find one I like. This moon set was taken from Frying Pan Tower in August. I went for the sunset but the moon ended up winning me over. 🌕📷🗼🥰
