Those colored patches aren't random. It's dye in the joint compound so nothing gets missed before sanding. Once it's sanded and painted, it disappears completely. Small detail, but it matters. Project located in Asheville. North Carolina.

Working in an occupied home is a different job than working in an empty one.

Lucas Flanaghan is a general contractor covering Henderson and Buncombe County, and he has been using Asheville Drywall on remodels where homeowners are still living in the space. That means dust control is not optional, floor protection is expected, and showing up on time is not a bonus, it is the baseline.

His crew noted that Daniel and the team were consistently on time, communicated well throughout, protected floors, and did everything possible to keep dust out of the living areas. For a GC managing a full remodel with people still in the home, those are the things that make or break a working relationship with a sub.

If you are a GC in the Asheville area coordinating remodels and need a drywall crew that holds those same standards, reach out.

Bathroom walls in Asheville. New drywall hung, cracks repaired, taped and finished to a level 4 before handing it back for primer and paint.

Seven seconds of satisfying drywall work.

Regular drywall behind a shower does not fail right away. It fails after the tile is up and everything looks finished. By then you are pulling tile just to get back to the wall.

Wet areas need cement board or tile backer. The rest of the bathroom needs mold and moisture resistant drywall. Right material from the start saves a much bigger problem later.

This review came in after a full level 5 finish, prime, and paint on a home with some genuinely tricky geometry.

"Daniel and his crew were exceptional. They did our drywall finishing (level 5), priming and painting in record time without sacrificing quality at all. Our home has a number of unusual angles and joints and the final edges came out beautifully. I'd work with them again for sure."

Level 5 finishing means the entire surface gets a skim coat before anything goes on the walls. It takes longer and it costs more than a standard finish, but it is the only way to get a truly flat wall under high sheen paint or in rooms with a lot of natural light. On a home with unusual angles and complex joints, pulling clean edges is one of the harder parts of the job.

Speed without quality is not something we trade in. When a client says record time and still beautiful, that is the whole goal.
