“What could have been”, the obvious focus in the immediate wake of loss. Remembering all of the growers, makers, artists, chefs, comedians, filmmakers, creators of all kinds that used our humble space to chase their own dreams.

We are humbled on our seventh anniversary to have been a small part of Asheville lore.

On June 24, 2025, it will be 271 days since these walls crumbled under the weight of Hurricane Helene. In that time we have put a great deal of thought into the future for plēb wine. And while it is still uncertain, our commitment to growing and making exceptional wine in Western North Carolina remains. We are honored to pair what remains of our wine with the creations of chef J Chong who has been a great collaborator, community partner and friend.

We are devastated with the loss of the winery and for all impacted in our surrounding communities. We don't really have words right now but thank you to all our loyal customers and ardent supporters over the last six years. We appreciate all the messages and will try to respond as service allows.

To celebrate our anniversary and to have fun we'll be having open table beer pong/wine pong here in the tasting room all day today (Friday) with opening at 5pm and Saturday and Sunday opening at 11:30am.
