I’m safe, thanks so much for all the check-ins. It’s quite a thing to watch people come together and help each other in small & big ways. It’s also quite a thing to see a place you love, one that’s held you and nurtured you with its lush maternal mountains, its quirky, creative, vibrant spirit, its history and its deliciousness and weirdness, covered with mud and destruction. I’m so grateful to be safe, while grieving for those who don’t have safe places to go or resources to access, and those who’ve lost so much. I’ll post info/donation links soon, please give, y’all.
