One of the simplest techniques allows you to make molds of bracelet links with pins. I add a couple of wires to the mold. This way wax will flow around the wires and make precise holes in the finished injection wax. This allows you to link each piece of the bracelet with a little pin or axle. You can make flexible bracelets this way!

I've been making jewelry molds since 1976. I switched from natural rubber molds to silicone rubber, both RTV and vulcanized, around 2002. I have lots of experience. Is there anyone interested in learning more about mold making?

A friend asked how to cut a dome ring mold. Here is a very rough approximation of his model. I made the ring just so I could make the mold. :-)
