Here is a recent restoration of a severely faded ghost sign in Snow Hill MD. Two layers of Wrigley's gum. The classic Spearmint from 1915-1920 and the more rare P.K. gum from the 1930s - 40s. Some quirky letter forms and kerning make this one very charming. Thanks to for the help with this one and the great people of Snow Hill MD

This is part 2 of a ghost sign recreation in the city of Mooresville NC. These wall ads all exist on these walls but are buried under 60 years of paint. The city hired me to recreate these 3 ads dating from 1915 -1940. Carefully adding paint a little at a time so they look as if they've always been there. The last 2 pictures document the history.

Recently completed mural at the new East Asheville Library. I was very honored to be selected to paint in this beautiful new library.
The design challenges were , they didn't want to show books, and it had to use only facility colors found in the building.
I decided to emulate marbled book paper as the background. Specifically Turkish marbling. The lines swirl around the painting and become a variety of community members.
