💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

At Focal Point Coworking, this month is especially meaningful to us.

Our founder, Alison Pages, is a breast cancer survivor, and this October she’ll once again be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in downtown Asheville; walking alongside survivors, families, friends, and supporters committed to making a difference.

Breast cancer has touched so many lives in our community. This month, we celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support those currently facing their own journey.

We’re proud to cheer Alison on as she walks for hope, strength, awareness, and a future without breast cancer. 💕

A little motivation left behind at Focal Point. 💙

After a company used Diamond Hall for a motivational workshop, they left this magnet behind.

And we think the message is worth keeping:

“I want to do this.” → DO IT
“But I’m scared.” → DO IT SCARED

Because being scared doesn't always mean don't do it. Sometimes it means this matters.

What’s something you've been wanting to do? Maybe it’s time. ✨

What makes a great retreat? The right space, the right setup, and a place where your team can truly focus.

We loved hosting the team from the **Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center** for their multi-day retreat at Focal Point. And hearing directly from their facilitator, Chris about the experience means so much to us!

From planning and setup to having flexible meeting space throughout their time here, our goal is to make retreats feel easy, productive, and welcoming.

Whether you're bringing together a nonprofit team, leadership group, or company for a day—or several days—we'd love to help create a space that works for you.

Not a franchise. Just local. 💙

There’s something different about working with a business that’s locally owned, locally operated, and genuinely invested in the community.

At Focal Point, you’re not just another membership number. We know our members, we’re here when you need us, and we care about creating a workspace where people actually enjoy coming to work.

Patio weather is here. 🍂☀️

There’s something about working outside when the weather starts to cool down.

Grab your coffee, bring your laptop, and take your workday outside on the Focal Point patio.

A little fresh air. A little sunshine. A change of scenery.

Great weather = a great reason to work somewhere different.

Come enjoy the patio and see what else Focal Point has to offer.

When you need a meeting space, sometimes the difference is a human being.

We know there are plenty of coworking spaces and meeting venues in Asheville. What sets Focal Point apart? Customer service.

From helping you choose the right room to thinking through your setup, answering questions, and being there when you arrive, we believe your experience should feel personal not transactional.

As one recent guest shared:

“Something I liked about Focal Point was being able to interface with an actual human before making a commitment.”

That’s exactly how we like it. 😊

Thoughtfully designed meeting rooms, natural light, outdoor space, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day successful.

Thank you to Galen of Rhodium Group | US Energy for the kind words and for choosing Focal Point for your team offsite!

Need a space for your next meeting, retreat, or offsite? Come meet us; we’d love to help.
